22.02.2024

Mr. C. Tlanthianghlima, learned counsel for the applicant submits that notice has been served to the respondent Nos. 3 & 4 by way of Dasti as permitted by this Court and that affidavit has been filed on 15.02.2024 as proof of service. Upon perusal of the affidavit, notice upon the respondent Nos. 4 & 5 is accepted. Ms. Mary L. Khiangte, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 & 2 submits that the State respondents do not have any objection in the application filed by the applicant seeking condonation of 64 days in preferring Special Leave to Appeal against the impugned order passed by the learned Trial Court. Upon hearing the learned counsels for the parties and upon perusing the materials available on record, Court is satisfied that the applicant has properly explained the reason for the delay in filing the connected Leave Application. Accordingly, the delay of 64 days in filing the connected Leave Application stands condoned. I.A stands disposed of as allowed.
