Heard Mr. I. Bam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. L. Perme, learned counsel for the respondent No.2. The present contempt petition was filed for non-compliance of the order dated 09/11/2022 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 421(AP)/2022. Today Mr. B. Picha, learned counsel for the petitioner has placed the copy of the order dated 29/01/2024 issued by the Director, AH&V, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Nirjuli, by which the representation submitted by the petitioner has been disposed with the observation that the name of the petitioner will be considered for compassionate appointment on availability of vacant post reserved for compassionate appointment and as and when the name of the petitioner reaches the zone of consideration in the list of compassionate appointment maintained by the department and when DPC is conducted. Mr. B. Picha, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the order dated 09/11/2022 complies with the order dated 09/11/2022 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 421(AP/2022. The learned counsel therefore submits that the contempt petition may be closed as infructuous. The contempt petition is accordingly closed as infructuous. The order dated 29/01/2024 passed by the Director, AH&V, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Nirjuli shall be kept on record.
