ORDER Date : 22.10.2024 Heard Ms. D. Rillung, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. U. Deka, learned counsel for the opposite party.

The present application is filed for condonation of 72 days delay in filing the connected MAC Appeal being MAC Appeal No. 05(AP)/2024 challenging the legality and validity of the judgment and order dated 21.12.2023, passed by the Page No.# 2/2 learned Member MACT, Yupia in MAC Case No. 14/2013 dismissing the said claim petition.

Mr. U. Deka, learned counsel for the opposite party has entered appearance and in his usual fairness submits that he has no instruction to object the condonation of delay of 72 days.

Perused the pleadings made in the application.

The delay has been explained in paragraph No. 6 of the application.

After perusal of the same, this Court is of the opinion that there were sufficient causes which prevented the petitioner from approaching this Court within the prescribed period of limitation. Accordingly, the delay stands condoned.
