ORDER Date : 24.07.2024 Heard Mr. R. Ingo, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. R. H. Nabam, learned Additional Advocate General for the respondent No. 1 as well as for the respondent No. 4, assisted by Mr. T. Sunil, learned counsel and Mr. B. Picha, learned counsel for the respondent No. 6.

¶2Mr. T. Sunil, learned counsel, on instructions from the respondent No. 4, has submitted that the copy of the award involved would be furnished to the petitioner herein, on 07.08.2024, on the petitioner approaching the said authority. Page No.# 5/5

¶3Mr. Nabam, learned Additional Advocate General has fairly submitted that furnishing of the copy of the award to the petitioner would not suffice. The award is also required to be published in a manner as provided for under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

¶4Accordingly, the Deputy Commissioner, shall also take requisite steps in the above direction.

¶5The petitioner herein is directed to approach the jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner on 07.08.2024 for being furnished with the copy of the award and the Deputy Commissioner shall also inform the petitioner about the manner in which the said award was so published.
