O R D E R
Date : 30.07.2024.
Heard Mr. S. Mow, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. Y. Riram, learned State Counsel, Mr. D. Kamduk, learned Standing Counsel, Land Management and Mr. R. Saikia, learned counsel appearing for the respondents. After arguing the matter at some length, Mr. S. Mow, learned counsel for the petitioners, on having realized that the present Writ Petition would not be maintainable, as the prayer in this Writ Petiiton has already been granted on
08.02.2022, by this Court in the earlier Writ Proceedings being WP(C) No.35/2017, fairly prays for withdrawal of the present Writ Petition. On careful perusal of the order dated 08.02.2022, passed in the earlier Writ Proceedings i.e. WP(C) No.35/2017, the prayer of learned counsel for the petitioners is accepted. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of on withdrawal. However, disposal of the Writ Petition on withdrawal shall not preclude the petitioners to pursue the matter with the respondent authorities, in terms of the order dated 08.02.2022, passed in WP(C) No.35/2017.
