Heard Mr. P. D. Nair, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also Mr. N. Ratan, learned Additional Advocate General, State of Arunachal Pradesh appearing for the State respondents. Mr. Nair, learned counsel for the petitioner after arguing the matter at some length has submitted that given the issue arising in the present proceeding, he may be permitted to withdraw the present public interest litigation with a liberty to approach the competent authority for redressal of the grievances as raised in the present petition. The said prayer is not objected to by the learned Additional Advocate General, Mr. N. Ratan. In view of the above, the present public interest litigation stands dismissed on withdrawal. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioners to approach the competent authorities for redressal of their grievances. It is further provided that in the event of any such approach is made in terms of the Page No.# 3/3 liberty granted by the petitioners, the competent authorities shall consider the said grievances strictly in accordance with law and the policy of the Government in place.
