Heard Mr. J. Tsering, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. P. Pangu, learned Government Advocate for the respondent No. 1 to 5. The present petition was filed by the petitioner impugning the letter No. HMB(B)/95/2015 dated 02/09/2016 issued by the Principal Secretary (Home), Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar, imposing a blanket ban on the issuance of fresh arms license in the State till the arms license issued by various authorities are completely uploaded in NDAL and on the issuance of multiple arms, license, multiple fire arm till generation of UIN in the license was completed. Today when the case is listed, Mr. J. Tsering, learned counsel for the petitioner has placed a copy of the notification dated 18/12/2023 issued by the Principal Secretary (Home), Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar, superseding the Government order No. HMB(B)/95/2015 dated 02/09/2016 and ordering that the ban imposed of issuance of fresh license in the State is revoked subject to certain conditions. Mr. J. Tsering, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the notification dated Page No.# 3/3 18/12/2023 issued by the Government, he has instruction to withdraw the writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly allowed to be withdrawn and disposed. The notification dated 18/12/2023 shall be kept on record. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
