ORDER Date : 09-09-2024 Heard Mr. A. Timung, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. T. Page No.# 2/2 Ete, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Arunachal Pradesh. This is an application under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) Act, 2023, praying for quashing the F.I.R. No. 35/2024, registered by Women Police Station Itanagar under Section 85 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNSS) Act, 2023. This is a dispute between husband and wife. Mr. T. Ete, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the Police has filed a final report being No. 83/2024, dated 16.08.2024. Since final report has been filed, there is no necessity of exercising the power under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) Act, 2023. With the aforesaid view of this Court, the present petition stands closed and disposed of.
