Takuso Mimi and 9 Ors v. The State of Ap and 4 Ors

ORDER Date : 09-08-2024 Heard Mr. T. Son, learned counsel for the applicant.

This is an application seeking permission to furnish the amended cause-title in terms of this Court's Order dated 27.05.2024, passed in IA(C) No. 12(AP)/2024.

By the aforesaid order, this Court allowed amendment of cause-title and directed the petitioner to submit amended cause-title to be incorporated in the writ petition. Such order necessarily means submission of the amended cause-title before the Registry and to the respondent counsel so that the earlier cause-title can be removed and the amended cause-title be inserted in the writ petition.

Accordingly, it is clarified that no separate application like the present one is necessary, inasmuch as earlier order dated

27.05.2024, clarifies the aforesaid position.

The petitioner shall furnish a copy of the amended cause-title before the competent section of the Registry, who shall, in turn incorporate the same in the pending writ petition and copies of such amended cause-title also be given to the learned counsel representing the respondents so that they can also amend the copy of writ petition served to them.
