None appears for the writ petitioner on call. Mr. S. Tapin, learned Senior Government Advocate, Arunachal Pradesh, is present on behalf of the respondents. The petitioner's counsel was absent even on the previous occasion i.e. on 14/02/2024 when the matter was listed before this Court. The Writ Petition (Crl) has been instituted assailing the legality and validity of the order dated 25/07/2023 issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Capital Complex, Itanagar, ordering detention of the petitioner for a period of 12 (twelve) days. The operation of the order dated 25/07/2023 was suspended by an interim order passed by this Court on 08/08/2023, as a result of which, the petitioner was not detained. From the materials available on record, it is evident that the impugned order dated 25/07/2023 has spent its force. Therefore, we are of the opinion that there is no live issue surviving in this writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly closed by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court once again, if there is any fresh cause of action arising in the matter. The writ petition stands disposed of.
