Shri Hage Ambing v. The State of A.P. and Anr

Heard Mr. C. Modi, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also, Ms. G. Ete, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate for the State respondents. Mr. Modi, at the very outset, has submitted that the Disciplinary Authority in the matter had vide order dated 01.03.2017, imposed upon the petitioner, penalty of withholding of 5(five) service increments with cumulative effect. However, during the pendency of the present proceedings, the appellate authority vide order dated 26.12.2017, had modified the penalty as imposed by the Disciplinary Authority and the modified penalty as imposed upon the Page No.# 2/2 petitioner is of withholding of one increment with cumulative effect. Mr. Modi submits that the petitioner accepts such modified penalty and as such, has no further grievance with regard to the same. In view of the said submission of Mr. C. Modi, learned counsel for the petitioner, no further adjudication is called for in the matter. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
