The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner being aggrieved by a decision of the respondent authorities, whereby a representation submitted by the petitioner on 26.07.2023 was rejected. Such representation was filed by the petitioner for consideration of his case for transferring him from his place of posting to another place. It is submitted by the learned State counsel that the petitioner had in the meantime retired from service. Therefore, nothing survives to the adjudicated in the present case. This court is also opinion that as the petitioner has retired in the meantime, the cause of action for consideration of his representation shall not survive.
