By filing this application, the applicant has sought for a permission to shift all the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs/VVPATs) of entire 44-Tezu (ST) Assembly Constituency from current Strong Room at Amik Ringya Hall, Tezu to District Election Officer's Strong Room/Ware House, Tezu, Lohit District, Arunachal Pradesh as per the instruction of the Election Commission of India. The learned counsels for the opposite parties have raised no objection to the prayer of the applicant so far as it relates to shifting of the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs/VVPATs) from the current Strong Room at Amik Ringya Hall, Tezu to District Election Officer's Strong Room/Ware House at Tezu, Lohit District. Having considered the submissions and the ground taken in the present application, I deem it appropriate to allow this application. Accordingly, the applicant is permitted to shift all the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs/VVPATs) of entire 44-Tezu (ST) Assembly Constituency from current Strong Room at Amik Ringya Hall, Tezu to District Election Officer's Strong Room/Ware House at Tezu, Lohit District, Arunachal Pradesh.
