Opet Jamoh v. The State of Ap and Anr

ORDER Date : 29-08-2024 Heard Mr. T. Tapak, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. T. Ete, learned Additional Pubic Prosecutor for the State of Arunachal Pradesh.

¶2This interlocutory application has been filed by the applicant, Ms. Opet Jamoh, praying for allowing amendment of Cause-title of the Interlocutory Application (Crl.) No. 73/2024.

¶3The learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that due to inadvertent typographical mistake in the Cause-title of the Interlocutory Application (Crl.) No. 73/2024, the word "Application under Section 5 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973" has been incorporated in place of "Application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963". As the said error is Page No.# 4/4 unintentional and had occurred only due to inadvertent typographical mistake, the learned counsel for the applicant prays for allowing the applicant to correct the same mistake.

¶4Prayer is allowed.

¶5The applicant is allowed to amend the said mistake by correcting the Cause-title of the Interlocutory Application No. 73/2024.

¶6Thereafter, the Interlocutory Application (Crl.) No. 73/2024 may be listed before this Court after necessary correction, after a week.

¶7This interlocutory application is accordingly disposed of.
