Heard Mr. R. P. Sharma, learned counsel assisted by Mr. A. Hussain, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Ms. L. Hage, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State in the Criminal Revision Petition No. 12 of 2024. This interlocutory application has been filed by the applicant, Atiqul Islam, praying for impleading Ngurang Rikam, as respondent No. 2 in this case. The learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that though Ngurang Rikam, who is the complainant in Naharlagun P.S. Case No. 14/2023, would be a necessary party for consideration of the connected Criminal Revision Petition. However, due to inadvertence, he was not impleaded as a party in the connected Criminal Revision Petition. Hence, he prays for allowing this application. Page No.# 3/3 Ms. L. Hage, learned Additional Public Prosecutor raises no objection to the said prayer, rather she submits that, party sought to be impleaded, is in fact a necessary party. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsels for the parties, the prayer is allowed. Let Mr. Ngurang Rikam be impleaded as respondent No. 2 in the connected Criminal Revision Petition No. 12/2024. This interlocutory application is accordingly disposed of.
