ORDER Date : 12-09-2024 Heard Mr. G. Taloh, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Ms L. Hage, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Arunachal Pradesh.

This is an application filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C praying for quashing of the criminal proceeding of G.R. Case No. 164/2020 arising of Aalo P.S. Case No. 97/2019.

In this case, the trial court has framed the charge under Section 419 of the Indian Penal Code which is a compoundable offence under the provision of Code of Criminal Procedure. Therefore, the petitioners are directed to approach the trial court for filing petitions for compounding the offence.

With the aforesaid direction, the present criminal petition stands closed and disposed of.

Interim order passed earlier stands vacated.
