The present contempt petition has been filed against the respondents for non compliance of order dated 30.04.2010 passed by this Court in SWP No. 586/2007, whereby the writ petition has been disposed of by directing the respondents to complete the process of framing of the service rules of the category to which the petitioners belong and thereafter, on finalization of the said rules, the case of the petitioners for grant of further service benefits in accordance with the said rules would be considered and appropriate orders passed within a further period of two months.

Since no one has appeared for the petitioners today, therefore, I deem it appropriate to close this contempt petition by directing the respondent No. 1 to comply with the order dated 30.04.2010, if the same has not been already done, within a period of two months from today.

Ordered, accordingly.

In the event the respondents fail to do the needful, the petitioners are at liberty to revive this contempt petition.
