Judgment

ORDER The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 406 & 420 of IPC, in Crime No.563 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The allegation against petitioner is that the petitioner along with other accused had received a huge amount of Rs.14,89,177/- lakhs from the de-facto complainant under the guise of "getting job" and thereafter, the petitioner along with other accused had cheated the de-facto complainant. Hence the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the alleged incident occurred in 2014 and it is alleged she only introduced A2 and A3 for job purposes without collecting money. Hence, he prayed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution and submitted that no arrests have been made in this case and it is alleged that money was deposited into the accounts of A2 and A3 on the instructions of A1. He further submitted that the investigation in this case is pending. Hence, he opposed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the nature of allegations and other circumstances including the fact that the alleged payments were all made in the year 2014 and also considering the age of the victim and the petitioner being a lady, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, subject to certain conditions.

¶6Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on her appearance, within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date on which the order copy made ready, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Coimbatore District, on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned, and on further conditions:
