ORDER This writ petition has been filed seeking for rectification of the classification of the property, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition and thereafter mutate the computer patta and 'A' register in favour of both the petitioner and his brother, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court based on the petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2025.

2.The petitioner claims that the properties, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition have been wrongly classified as 'Kambukatti Manyam'. According to the petitioner, the property should be classified as patta land. The petitioner also seeks for mutation of the computer patta and 'A' register in favour of the petitioner and his brother for the properties, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition. The petitioner had given a representation to the second respondent on 16.10.2025 for the said purpose. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2025 seeking for re-classification of the property, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition as patta land instead of 'Kambukatti Manyam' and thereafter, mutate the computer patta and 'A' register in favour of both the petitioner and his brother, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents, filed by the petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
