Judgment

ORDER This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to cancel the patta Nos.215 and 128 issued in favour of the fourth respondent for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, and thereafter, to effect necessary correction in the revenue records by issuing patta in favour of the petitioner.

¶2According to the petitioner, the fourth respondent has illegally obtained patta Nos.215 and 128 in his favour for the subject property. The petitioner seeks for cancellation of the said pattas and for making necessary correction in the revenue records by issuing patta in her favour therefor. The petitioner had given a representation to the official respondents on 26.12.2025 for the said purpose along with supporting documents. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

¶3Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse orders are passed against the fourth respondent in this writ petition, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with. Page3 of 4

¶4No prejudice will be caused to the official respondents, if the aforesaid representation of the petitioner is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections if any from the fourth respondent as well as any other party whom the official respondents deem it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2025 seeking for cancellation of patta Nos.215 and 128 standing in the name of the fourth respondent, after hearing the objections if any from the fourth respondent as well as any other party whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
