Judgment
ORDER Today, when the matter came up for hearing, Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department [HR&CE] submitted that the temple authorities have not committed any violation or disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.No.19593 of 2025 vide order dated 29.05.2025 as fixed by the temple authorities on the eve of "Maha Kumbabhishekam", which was scheduled to be held on 08.06.2025. He further submitted that all the public devotees, and other donors worshipped the "Sri Sendraya Perumal Temple" and the respondents have not raised any objection during the said festival.
¶2In response, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the photographs filed by the respondents would clearly show that the rival parties have actively participated on the eve of "Maha Kumbhabhishekam".
¶3On perusal of reords as well as the photographs filed by the temple authorities and other connected typed set of papers, it reveals that some of the respondents, public, and other devotees had also appeared in the function. Therefore, all the photographs would show that the rivalry parties have participated on the eve of "Maha Kumbhabhishekam". Therefore, this Contempt Petition is not sustainable, but, as on date, there is no dispute with regard to participation of in the said temple. However, the original petition in respect of Trustees "Sri Sendraya Perumal Temple" is pending before the Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Salem-635 001, and the parties are at liberty to workout the remedy before the Joint Commissioner, the first respondent herein, in the manner known to law.
¶4In view of the above findings, this Contempt Petition shall stands closed.
