Judgment

ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed praying for direction to the respondents to pay the payment of Revised basic pay from April 2018 and to calculate the terminal benefits and pension as per Government G.O.Ms.No.303 Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 11.10.2017 and considering the petitioner representation dated 15.10.2025

¶2In the first respondent Corporation, the petitioner was appointed as daily paid w.e.f 01.09.1986 and his service was regularized from 01.02.1987. Thereafter, he was promoted as Foreman and thereafter as Junior Engineer. While being so, on 31.10.2020, he voluntarily retired from service, pursuant to which he recivered retirement terminal benefits. Thereafter, revision of pay scale was implemented by Governent Orders. Therefore, the petitioner made representation to the first respondent for implementing the same to him. However, no action has been taken. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

¶3The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner representation dated 15.10.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

¶4In view of the limited request sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 15.10.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.

¶5With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
