DISMISSED

Judgment

J U D G M E N T (Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.Subramaniam,J.) The present Writ Appeal has been instituted, challenging the Writ Order dated 08.12.2025 in W.P.No.47481 of 2025. Page3 of 5

¶2Writ Petition has been instituted by Appellant after a lapse of 19 years from the date of passing of M.E. Degree by 9th respondent in Anna University. Appellant questioned the validity of M.E. Degree obtained by 9th Respondent by stating that she had not secured the degree as a regular student, but obtained the Degree, when she was in service. In respect of M.E. Degree, previously evening Colleges were approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and even Anna University conducted evening Colleges for M.E. Degree. Those courses are regular Degree courses.

¶3However, this Court cannot probe into this aspect in the present case, since appellant has filed Writ Petition, questioning the validity of M.E. Degree obtained by 9th Respondent, for which, he has not produced any acceptable evidence before Employer. If at all any admissible evidence is produced before Employer, that alone would provide cause for institution of further actions. Merely based on some presumption that 9th Respondent was employed during the period she had undergone M.E. Degree Course, would be insufficient to entertain Writ Petition. Therefore, this Court is of the view that Writ Court is right in dismissing Writ Petition. Page4 of 5 Consequently, the present Writ Appeal is dismissed. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. (S.M.S.,J.) (N.S.,J.) 22-07-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order AR To:
