30.12.2025.
¶2Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. With the consent of both sides, the present Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself. Since no adverse order is to be passed against the third respondent, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.
¶3It is the case of the petitioner that the subject petrol retail outlet is situated in Town Survey No.22, Kovilpathagai Village, Avadi Taluk, Tiruvallur Page3 of 6 District/classified as Grama Natham, which belongs to the petitioner's family was leased in the year 2009 to a third party, where the lessee fraudulently caused TSLR entries and secured an illegal Form-4 provisional patta however no patta could be granted for Grama Natham land. Pursuant to the directions of this Court in W.P.No.10712 of 2024, the fraudulent TSLR entries was set aside and reaffirmed that the land remains Grama Natham, due to which the licence/dealership for the petrol retail outlet granted to the lessee stood cancelled and therefore, the continued operation of the outlet became illegal and hence, the petitioner made a detailed representation dated 30.12.2025 enclosing all relevant records, however the same was not considered which led the petitioner to file the present Writ Petition.
¶4The learned counsel for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that there may be a direction to the second respondent / Chennai Retail Region Head to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2025, within a reasonable time.
