¶3The petitioner is working as a conductor in the depot of the 2nd respondent. The petitioner had availed loan from the 1st respondent for a sum of Rs.7,90,000/-. Due to default in repayment of the said loan amount, the 1st respondent approached the authority under the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act. Pursuant thereto, an award dated 22.08.2025 was passed by the Co-operative Sub-Registrar, Chennai directing the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.9,81,111/-.
