Judgment
Order This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to reassess reasonable compensation payable to the petitioner's land which was affected by erection of transmission towers and right of way corridor.
2.Case of the petitioner is that he owns agricultural lands in Kadanallur Village, comprised in S.F.No.133/7, 133/8, 133/17B, 124/8 and 110/4B measuring an extent of 1.66 acres. While so, the respondents in connection with a High Tension Electricity Transmission Project, have erected transmission towers across his lands and thereby restricted agricultural operations and free enjoyment of his property and also fixed very meagre compensation for the lands affected by the transmission project. Hence, the petitioner made representation dated 30.04.2025 requesting enhancement and reassessment of compensation, however, the respondents have not taken effective steps to redress his grievance. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. Page3 of 4

¶4The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
¶5Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
¶6In view of the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.04.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
