Judgment

ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation, dated 04.08.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

¶2Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.V.Veeramani, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent. Since no adverse order is passed against the 4th respondent in this writ petition, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with by this Court.

¶3The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that in the gift deed executed by the 4th respondent in favour the Kovulpalayam Village Panchayat, the northern side boundary was wrongly mentioned. Page No.2 of 6 The petitioner seeks to rectify the alleged mistake committed in the gift deed executed by the 4th respondent in the favour of the Kovulpalayam Village Panchayat. He had given a representation to the 2nd respondent on

04.08.2025 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

¶4No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the 4th respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

¶5For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2025 seeking rectification of the alleged mistake committed in the gift deed executed by the 4th respondent in favour of the Kovulpalayam Village Panchayat with regard to the northern side boundary, after hearing the objections, if any, from the 4th respondent and any other party, whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to Page No.3 of 6 enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

¶6With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
