ORDER (Order of the Court was delivered by M.S.RAMESH,J.) The Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 3rd respondent relating to the proceedings in his letter bearing no. NHAI / NHDP-V / MC - II/ BOT/ HK / E.2467 / 2736, dated 05.03.2021 and quash the same and consequently, direct the Respondents to permit the petitioner to display advertisement in the permitted area as stipulated in circular bearing No.NHAI/CMC/Misc/ 1302 /2013/ 3 (Part)/54217 dated 10.07.2014 in consonance with clause 17.15 of the Model Concession Agreement.

¶2The petitioner herein claims right of displaying advertisement through the 6th respondent, who is a concession agreement holder with the National Highways Authority of India.

¶3Today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for NHAI produced a copy of an order dated 22.01.2024, whereby the concession agreement granted to the 6th respondent herein has been terminated. Since the petitioner claims right only through the 6th respondent, whose agreement has now been cancelled, no effective orders can be passed to the prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition, as the petitioner has lost his rights.

¶4Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [M.S.R., J] [R.S.V., J]
