ORDER The Contempt Petition is filed complaining wilful disobedience of the order dated 20.06.2026 in W.P.No.6815 of 2026.

¶2When two persons namely, one Arun Kumar and Benniman filed the above writ petition for a mandamus, forbearing the respondents 4 to 12 from approving the appointment of Correspondents of various schools in the Ambur Synod, the same was dismissed by this Court, keeping open the liberty of the petitioner to approach the Civil Court. In the course of the findings, an observation is also made that the education authorities have to recognise the Correspondent for the benefit of the students who are studying in the schools and the problems between the members of the society and their inter se interests Page3 of 5 and counter interests is none of the concerns of the education authority. Therefore, relying upon the said observations, the Contempt Petition is filed.

¶3It can be seen that the education authorities are bound to appoint Correspondents as per the rules but however, there was no direction that is given in the said order and therefore, this Contempt Petition cannot be entertained. Keeping open the liberty of the petitioner to take such steps in the manner known to law, the Contempt Petition stands closed. 13-07-2026 KKN Page4 of 5 To
