Judgment
ORDER Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the first and second respondents and the learned Special Government Pleader for the third respondent.
¶2Since, the petitioner by the amended prayer had only sought for disposal of the appeal filed by him before the 3rd respondent against the punishment order dated 12.07.2021 and also taking note of the fact that the petitioner had been granted personal hearing on two occasions on 02.11.2022 and 11.07.2023, the petitioner cannot claim that the enquiry conducted by the respondent authorities is in violation of principles of natural justice. ¶3However, as it is contended that the respondents despite hearing the matter, did not pass order, this Court is of the view that the 3rd respondent is to be directed to consider the appeal dated 09.08.2021 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of two(2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice and also granting opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.
¶4With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 23-01-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order MSV Note: Registry is directed to carryout necessary amendment in the cause title in W.P.No.14529 of 2021 and issue order copy to the parties thereafter.
