¶3Thereafter, the petitioner was re-engaged on a contractual basis as a Post Graduate Teacher for the period from 26.10.2015 to 14.05.2017. ¶4Subsequently, by proceedings dated 18.04.2023, the third respondent revised the pay scales applicable to the petitioner's regular service and fixed his pay at Rs.68,980/- as on the date of his retirement, i.e., 31.08.2012. According to the petitioner, in view of the revised pay fixation, he became entitled to a corresponding revision of the consolidated remuneration paid during his period of re-engagement.

¶5Therefore, the petitioner had submitted several representations the last of which was dated 09.09.2024 to the third respondent seeking revision of his consolidated remuneration for the period of re-engagement and payment of the consequential arrears.
