ORDER This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to withdraw the case in H.M.O.P.No.62 of 2026 on the file of the Family Court, Villupuram and transfer the same to the Family Court, Chennai.

2.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent filed a petition in H.M.O.P.No.62 of 2026 before the Family Court, Villupuram seeking dissolution of marriage. He submits that the petitioner is residing with her parents in Chennai. Further, the respondent filed the above petition before the Family Court, Villupuram only with a malafide intention. He further submits that the distance between the petitioner's residence and the Family Court, Villupuram is 160 kms. and it is very difficult for the petitioner to attend the Court proceedings. Further, if the above case is not transferred, the petitioner would be put to serious hardship. Therefore, he prays to transfer the case to the Family Court, Chennai.

4.Learned counsel for the respondent has not raised any serious objection in transferring the case from Villupuram to Chennai. Page3 of 6

5.I have gone through the affidavit filed in support of the transfer petition as well. I find merits in the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side.

Accordingly, the case in H.M.O.P.No.62 of 2026 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Villupuram and transferred to the file of the IV Additional Family Court, Chennai.
