¶3By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.

¶4The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed a representation dated 28.01.2026 before the respondent, requesting to survey the subject land and lay boundary stones therein. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.

¶5In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of 4 weeks and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

¶6Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

¶7In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.01.2026 and after issuing due notice to all the concerned parties, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. ¶8It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the respondent for conducting survey and laying boundary stones at the subject land. If there is any dispute with regard to the possession over the said property, the same has to be decided only by way of filing a suit before an appropriate Civil Court.

¶9If any police protection is required at the time of conducting survey, the official respondent is granted liberty to avail the same by approaching the jurisdictional police station. In such case, the concerned police officer shall provide all necessary protection to the respondent till the completion of survey at the subject land.
