S.Subbulakshmi v. The Secretary

ORDER The petitioner was posted from Sivagangai District to Thoothukudi District on deputation in the year 2015. However, by the impugned order, the petitioner was relieved from Thoothukudi and was directed to join in Sivagangai District. Challenging the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that several other persons are allowed to continue in the same District. In this regard, the petitioner has given several representations seeking permission to continue in the Thoothukudi District. However, the same has not been considered and the impugned order came to be passed. Page3 of 4

¶3It is also brought to the attention of this Court that petitioner's husband is also serving in Thoothukudi. In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the consideration of the petitioner's representation, she may be allowed to continue in the present District.
