¶2The petitioners executed a sale deed, dated 13.03.2026 and presented the same for registration before the third respondent. Citing the objection received from the private respondents, the third respondent declined to register the document. Challenging the Refusal Check Slip, this Writ Petition came to be filed.

It is in this view of the matter, the impugned Check Slip is quashed. The petitioners are permitted to re-present the document. The third respondent shall issue notice to the private respondents herein. The third respondent cannot decline to register the document merely because objection has been received. The third respondent has to verify if the objections are legally sustainable. The third respondent will have to abide by any restraint order that has been passed by the jurisdictional Civil Court. The third respondent cannot mechanically decline to register the document.
