Order This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to issue Consolidated Statement of Grades (CSG), Provisional Certificates (PC) and final Degree Certificates for the following students of the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI and DS) programme of the 2021 -2025 academic batch in the Petitioner college (i) Karthika R (ii) Keerthiga B (iii) Pandra Sandeep Kumar (iv) Rishi Varadan V S (v) Senthil Balan R P showing the course duration as 2021 to 2025 and year of completion as 2025 subject to their passing of the examination held on 27.05.2026 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

¶2When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent circulated the following instructions: "Kind attention is invited to the subject mentioned above. In this regard, it is submitted that the issue raised by the petitioners was placed before the 35th Academic Council Meeting held on

25.06.2026. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Academic Council approved that the requirement of the Management Elective be waived in lieu of Naan Mudhalvan Course as a special case, and the students will be treated as having successfully completed their respective programmes in the year 2025, as a one-time measure. It is requested that the above facts may kindly be placed before the Hon'ble High Court of Madras at the time of hearing." Page7 of 8

¶3The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent authority should comply with the above instructions, agreed to by respondent.

¶4In view thereof, nothing survives for further adjudication. The instructions circulated by the learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent is recorded and this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
