¶2The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has purchased the property comprised in Survey No.370/1 from one Bahadur Ali, S/o. Batchamiyan and his co-sharers who were in possession and enjoyment of the property. A dispute arose in respect of mutation of patta relating to the said survey field which had been made in favour of third parties including Tmt.Selvaambal. The said mutation was challenged by the vendors of the petitioner by filing appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Perambalur. After a detailed enquiry, the said mutation was set aside since there were no valid parent title document in favour of the rival claimants in respect of Survey Nos.370/1 and 370/4A. Therefore, only after verification, the petitioner has purchased the said property for valuable consideration and presented the sale deed for registration before the second respondent on
19.05.2026. The second respondent has neither registered the document nor returned the same till date. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
