Judgment

O R D E R The petitioners challenge the order dated 20.02.2026 passed by the first respondent granting planning permission in favour of the private respondents for construction of a high-rise commercial building.

¶2The petitioners have filed a memo dated 19.07.2026 stating that they have been advised that the issues involved in the present case are more appropriately adjudicated by a competent Civil Court. Accordingly, they seek Page Nos.4/6 permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to pursue their remedies before the competent Civil Court. The memo is taken on record.

¶3In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn, reserving liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedies before the competent Civil Court, if so advised.

¶4The Registry is directed to return the original impugned order, if any, to the petitioners, after retaining a photocopy of the same on record.

¶5Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
