Judgment
ORDER This application is filed to reopen the contempt petition which was closed earlier by this Court on 10.02.2023 granting liberty to the petitioner to workout their remedy subject to the outcome of the writ appeal.
¶2It is further brought to the notice of this Court that the writ appeal preferred by the respondent/State was disposed of by the Hon'ble Division Bench by order dated 21.04.2025, whereby, the appeal filed by the respondents/State has been dismissed and thus, the respondents are required to comply with the order in the writ petition which they have failed to do so.
¶3In view of the above, since, earlier in the contempt petition, liberty was granted to the petitioner to seek revival of the contempt petition and the writ appeal filed by the respondents/State having been dismissed by order dated
21.04.2025, the respondents are required to comply with the order of this Court dated 10.02.2023. Since, it is contended that the respondents having been failed to comply with the order of this Court, this Court is of the view that the contempt petition filed earlier by the petitioner can be revived.
¶4Accordingly, the sub application is ordered and the contempt petition is Page3 of 6 restored to the file of this Court. 17-07-2026 MSV To
