Judgment

Order This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 30.12.2024 to rectify the erroneous classification of the petitioners property as Anadheenam in the online revenue records.

¶2The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's father had purchased the property comprised in S.F. No. 48/6, measuring an extent of 0.96 acres, situated at Mangalam Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpattu District. It is submitted that after his demise, all his legal heirs succeeded to the property and have been in continuous possession and enjoyment of the same. While there was no discrepancy in the manual patta originally issued, during the process of updating the revenue records and issuing the online patta, the property was erroneously classified and recorded as "Anadheenam" (Government Land), despite the existence of valid title documents. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 30.12.2024 to the first respondent seeking rectification of the entry. Since no response has been forthcoming on the said representation till date, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition. Page3 of 5

¶3In reply, Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government Counsel who takes notice on behalf of the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2024 will be disposed of by the respondents within a period of six weeks.

¶4Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Counsel for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.

¶5In view of the above, this Court directs the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2024 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

¶6With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 03-07-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order SK Page4 of 5 To
