ORDER This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner that the petitioner shall execute a bond of Rs.25,000/- with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I Tambaram. One among the sureties shall be either of his parents, instead of that 'the petitioner shall execute a bond of Rs.25,000/- with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Special Judge, Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, at Chennai".

2.Originally, the learned Principal Special Judge (EC & NDPS Act)) At Chennai had granted bail to the petitioner on condition that " The petitioner shall execute a bond of Rs. 25,000/- with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tambaram, and that one among the sureties shall be a Government surety". Subsequently, this Court, vide its order dated 22.02.2025, modified the said condition to the effect that one among the sureties shall be either of the parents of the petitioner.

¶3Now, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the charge sheet has been taken on file and the case has been numbered before the file of the learned II Additional Special Judge, Special Court under EC & NDPS Act, Chennai. Hence, he seeks modification of the condition regarding the satisfaction Court before which the sureties have to be furnished. Page3 of 4

¶4Considering the subsequent development, this Court is inclined to modify the bail condition as follows: "The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- [Rupees: Twenty Five thousand only] with two sureties for the like sum, to the satisfaction of the learned II Additional Special Judge, Special Court under EC & NDPS Act, Chennai, and one among the sureties shall be either of his parents."
