Judgment

Order This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to upload the survey No.564/1, measuring 0.40 cents land as per patta in patta No.1368 based on the petitioner's representations dated 6.6.2023 and 15.6.2026.

¶2The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had purchased the property comprising S.F. No. 558/3A (measuring 0.81 acres/cents), S.F. No. 558/3B (measuring 0.25 acres/cents), S.F. No. 564/1 (measuring 0.40 acres/cents), S.F. No. 566/3A (measuring 1.32 acres/cents), and S.F. No. 566/4 (measuring 0.37 acres/cents), totalling 3.15 acres/cents, vide Sale Deed dated 20.11.2009. It is further submitted that the petitioner obtained patta in her favour and remains in absolute possession and enjoyment of the said property. While so, during the implementation of the UDR (Updating Registry) scheme, the land in Survey No. 564/1 measuring 0.40 acres/cents was erroneously omitted from being uploaded into the online patta system. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 06.06.2023 to respondents 1 and 2 to upload S.F. No. 564/1 measuring 0.40 acres/cents of land in accordance with the physical patta. Since the said representation yielded no fruitful result, the petitioner submitted a fresh representation dated 15.06.2026. Since subsequent representation has also not been considered till date, the petitioner, left with no other alternative, has approached this Court by filing the present Page3 of 5 Writ Petition. .

¶3In reply, Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government Counsel who takes notice on behalf of the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2026 will be disposed of by the respondents within a period of six weeks.

¶4Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Counsel for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.

¶5In view of the above, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2026 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

¶6With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 03-07-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order SK Page4 of 5 To
