Dwarakanathan Vijayakumaran v. The Serious Fraud Investigation Officer

ORDER The prayer in the Criminal Original Petition is to permit the petitioner to travel abroad for period of 76 days from 02.08.2026 to 16.10.2026 and to pass such further or other orders.

¶2The learned counsel for the petitioner would rely upon the earlier orders continuously being passed by this Court, granting permission to the petitioner to travel abroad and the petitioner has also travelled abroad and come back on all the occasions. Similar prayer is made in the present application also in the very same case. Page3 of 5

¶3The learned Special Public Prosecutor would bring to the notice of the Court that there is a development that, on 22.10.2025, the final report was filed and it is taken on file as Spl.C.C.No. 4 of 2026 and now summons have been issued including to that of the petitioner and the case is now posted for their appearance on 06.08.2026. Now that the case has been filed, it is only proper and necessary that the petitioner can file the very same application before the Trial Court where the case is pending and the Trial Court will consider the same on its own merits, after hearing both sides.
