¶2It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioner was in a relationship with another woman and, unable to bear the same, the deceased, who is none other than his wife, committed suicide by hanging. Hence, the case.
¶3The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner has been in custody since 16.05.2026 and is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. He further submitted that the petitioner has three children aged 12, 14 and 15 years and that there is no one to take care of them. Hence, he prayed for the grant of bail.
¶4The learned Government Advocate (Crl. ¶5Considering the totality of the circumstances, particularly the period of incarceration undergone by the petitioner, the fact that the petitioner has no bad antecedents, the fact that a major portion of the investigation has already been completed, and also the fact that the petitioner has three minor children aged 12, 14 and 15 years, who require his care and support, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, subject to certain conditions.
