¶3The petitioner would submit that though he was originally appointed as a Junior Assistant and has since been promoted to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer as reflected in his Service Register under the Electrical Engineering Department, he has, for the past 17 years, been continuously discharging duties in the Information Technology Wing. However, the said representation has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
¶5Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records.
¶6Considering the relief sought for by the petitioner and in the absence of any serious objection from the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2026 and pass appropriate Page4 of 5 orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
