Judgment

Order This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to rectify the error in Provisional and Degree Certificates issued by the 3rd Respondent with subjects wrongly mentioned as "Intellectual Disability" and to issue Provisional and Degree Certificates with the correct subject of study viz., "Hearing Impaired in B.Ed Course".

¶2Petitioner studied B.Ed course in respondent University. In the Provisional and Degree Certificates issued by R3, subject has been wrongly mentioned as "Intellectual Disability", when the petitioner had taken "Hearing Impaired" subject. Petitioner made representations dated 18.04.2026 and

24.04.2026 to the respondents for rectifying the above error. Since there is inaction on the part of the respondents, the petitioner is before this Court.

¶3Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents would submit that there is no error in the said certificates. However, he would submit that petitioner's representation dated 24.04.2026 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed after issuing notice to petitioner and any other interested parties, within a time period to be stipulated by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner. Page3 of 4

¶4In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated

24.04.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after issuing notice and after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner and any other interested persons within a period of four weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy of the order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.

¶5Accordingly, the Writ etition stands disposed of. No costs.
