Order This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2026 to issue class-II legal heirship certificate in favour of the petitioner and her brother Lakshminarayanan A.G for the petitioner's demised brothers 1.Ramakrishnan and 2.Jayaraman.

¶2Learned counsel for petitioner would submit that petitioner sent a representation dated 12.06.2026 to the respondents seeking class – II legal heirship. Since no orders have been passed by the respondents on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court.

¶3At the outset, the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2026 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed after issuing notice to petitioner and any other interested parties, within a time period to be stipulated by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

¶4In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated

12.06.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after issuing notice and after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to Page3 of 4 petitioner and any other interested persons within a period of six weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy of the order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
