ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "directing the 1st to 4th respondents to consider petitioners representation dated 26.05.2026 and consequently sanction and disburse the family pension of the petitioner's missing husband Mr.N.Muniratinam to the petitioner within a timebound period."
¶2The case of the petitioner is that her husband, Thiru. N. Muniratinam, a retired Sub-Inspector of Police, has been missing since 05.04.2025, and a Man Missing case was registered in Crime No.125 of 2025 on 22.04.2025. Despite the efforts taken by the police authorities and the orders passed by this Court in H.C.P. No.410 of 2026, her husband could not be traced and continues to remain untraceable. Since more than one year has elapsed from the date of registration of the case, the petitioner is entitled to seek sanction of Family Pension in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.478, Finance (Pension) Department. Therefore, the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 26.05.2026 requesting the respondents to issue a Non-Traceable Certificate in respect of her husband and consequently sanction and disburse Family Pension along with indemnity bond. As the said representation has not been considered by the respondents, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. Page3 of 4

26.05.2026, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
