Order This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 19.05.2026.

¶2Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned Government counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

¶3By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.

¶4The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioners filed the representations dated 19.05.2026 before the Page3 of 5 respondents, requesting them to refer the Award dated 15.05.2023 passed by 2nd respondent to the competent civil court under Section 64 of the Right to Fair compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013. However, the said representations were not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.

¶5In reply, the learned counsel for the official respondents would submit that the petitioners' representations will be considered, if it is within the period of limitation and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

¶6Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

¶7In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representations filed by the petitioners dated 19.05.2026 and dispose of the same, if it is within the period of limitation, on merits and in accordance with law. In the event of any delay, the petitioner shall satisfy the respondents by providing sufficient reasons for such delay. Page4 of 5
