¶2Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), it can be seen that the crux of the allegation is that the accused set up a honey trap in the Instagram. The petitioner being a law student, like many others now falling for this kind of lures in the Instagram also fell for the trap that is set up, in the name of love affair. It is alleged that the accused extracted money from the petitioner so much so that the petitioner gave away even the fees that is given to him for payment to the Law College. Now the petitioner is only doing coolly work since he did not pay the fees of the Law College. This is the sad story of many of the youngsters, who spend their time in the virtual world rather than in the real world.

¶3It is the case of the petitioner that one day he was abducted and was thrashed for asking the money back. Since it appears to be a scam, let there be a thorough investigation made by the respondent Police and let the final report in accordance with law shall be filed. It is submitted that the petitioner's nude video was also taken and it is also now circulated in the Social Media. In spite of getting fooled in the Instagram, the petitioner still seems to be looking into the Social Media. Let him not use the mobile phone hereafter and let him live in the real world. In any event, the said factor can also be looked into by the Investigating Officer while completing the investigation. The jurisdictional Page2 of 4 Deputy Superintendent of Police shall closely monitor the investigation. Let the investigation be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a web copy of the order. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 17-07-2026 PVS To
